Responsible for supporting the ongoing analysis and improvement of the program’s data inventory. Analyze business information, gather data, prepare ad hoc reports, and provide quality assurance. Should have a passion for data and be interested in working with large data sets.


  • Assist in the collection and gathering of program data and artifacts for performance measurement analysis, program reviews, audits, customer meetings, others
  • Assist in the analysis of business objectives and development data solutions to meet customer needs
  • Interact with Management, IT, Compliance and Performance personnel to gather data management requirements and construct the necessary quality control procedures
  • Research new and existing data sources to contribute to new development, improve data management processes, and make recommendations for data quality initiatives
  • Assist program management in establishing data security guidelines
  • Maintain best practices to ensure data are appropriately secured from security breaches
  • Perform periodic data quality reviews for internal and external data
  • Help define Strategy, Methodology, and Validation processes for enterprise data migration, integration and validation from multiple systems into a IWMS
  • Assist in the documenting Strategy, Methodology and Validation processes
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data Taxonomy, data dictionary, and user business rules manifest for enterprise


  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ directly related experience
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Agile development methodology experience
    • Ability to analyze and maintain business technical documentation
    • Ability to program in Python and working knowledge of R
    • Experience in in SQL, ETL and data blending tools
    • Understand database architectures, and data warehousing concepts
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
    • Ability to assist in collecting program health metrics
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • Experience working with Department of State Customer
