  • Overview

    Provide auditing services to support compliance needs. Establish evidence of personnel meeting/not meeting contractual training and weapons qualification/requalification requirements.  Review to determine costs incurred.

    Responsibilities

    • Examine and evaluate the effectiveness of the systems of internal controls and compliance
    • Review auditor’s comprehensive, technical reports and prepare summary presentations regarding risk, audit findings, and recommendations for customer
    • Ensure the integrity of operational and financial information
    • Execute accurate, objective and high quality assessments of all contract compliance/noncompliance
    • Document and report the audit findings/observations
    • Communicate audit results to customer in a professional, objective, and clear manner
    • Cooperate with and support other auditors and staff
    • Submit complete audit reports in a timely manner
    • Promptly address any clarification queries from the reviewing team
    • Treat privileged information with discretion and ensure all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded
    • Update country law profiles for assigned country/region in support of the audit process and advisory services and update appropriate tracking tools

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or other related Business field or equivalent years of experience
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • 2 years of professional experience
      • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently on projects
      • Ability to work with process owners to obtain documentation, understand processes, discuss potential issues/deficiencies/findings
      • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
      • Ability to use sound judgment including maintaining confidentiality

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead
