  • Overview

    Support a large team of strategic consulting, operational and software development resources.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, organize, and coordinate various projects, programs and services involving diverse administrative operations
    • Administer or manage specific projects, programs and/or services
    • Recommend and assist in installing improved administrative methods, procedures, and facilities
    • Support management of the system life cycle for all major elements of the project
    • Analyze and successfully address project issues related to cost, schedule, scope, and quality
    • Provide innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations on schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project
    • Provide systems analysis, long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development and maintenance, and production support activities
    • Support performance reporting, cost reports, and management reporting on the contract as required
    • Support top quality of contract deliverable submissions and ensure compliance with customer quality practices, CMMI Level 3, and ISO (9001, 20001, 27001)
    • Contribute to Planning and Status Reporting
    • Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders, sub-contract partners and Enterprise teams to educate, coordinate, and drive strategic relationships to winning outcomes
    • Conduct research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues; coordinates and expedites reports and program information from departmental input; develops procedures and forms; formulates recommendations and prepares reports and correspondence
    • Support business process reengineering activities and deliverables
    • Lead Business Process gap analyses and resulting support service planning and generation
    • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine approach and feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
    • Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance
    • Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s with 5+ years overall consulting experience
    • Required Knowledge/Experience
      • Experience leading programs involving technology migration, IT operations, Software Development, Program Management Office
      • Demonstrable expertise in more than one of the following: Software Engineering, Development, and Operations, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Case Management Operations, and Database Management Operations
      • Experience leading Agile projects using Lean approaches
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • 5 years of IT work experience in a large mission critical project involving COTS integration, management of information systems, software at the DoS preferred
      • Knowledge of TRIRIGA is a plus
      • PMP certified preferred

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager IV
