  • Overview

    Provide business development staff to support AMS business development practices with the goal of increasing the volume of assisted acquisitions AMS provides to federal agencies.


    • Perform capture activities to include competitive analytics, market research, customer profiling and lead generation and associated reporting
    • Manage special projects and programs ensuring revenue growth for the organization
    • Work with AMS to identify clients that have existing, currently-funded contract vehicles with AMS
    • Work with AMS and/or existing clients to determine:
      • Timeframes for using the currently-funded contract vehicles (e.g., current fiscal year, future fiscal year, ton year, etc.)
      • Services and activities for which current funds can be
      • Entities and staff within the client organization with authority to use the current funds
    • Develop strategies for understanding the client’s business/mission and make recommendations on potential uses for the funds
    • Identify POCs within agencies to make them aware of opportunities with PSC/AMS
    • Help AMS managers identify potential new clients, including internal DHHS organizational units as well as other federal agencies
    • Develop marketing and penetration strategies for selected potential clients
    • Develop marketing and communication materials
    • Help AMS customer liaisons and selected clients identify contracting opportunities and develop detailed plans for securing the contracting opportunities
    • Utilize existing AMS database for tracking and to assist in billing
    • Assist with the development and processing of Customer Service Agreements
    • Assist with AMS billing and resolution of customer questions/disputes


    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Knowledgeable in federal procurement processes, operations, and applicable standards
      • Able to help AMS identify opportunities with new clients
      • Ability to increase the volume of business with existing clients
      • Working knowledge of business analytics toolsets, software and applications
      • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
      • Knowledge of risk management fundamentals

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Contract Administrator
