  • Overview

    Provide needed technical and analytic support for the use of the selected CRM product within the DS IT environment. Support continued deployment of the pilot instance to all users of the initially selected application. Support for the analysis and evaluation of other applications for migration and modernization in the CRM product architecture, and support for the needed IT security analysis and documentation support needed to support DS Information Assurance requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a testing strategy to include plans and scripts for the Dynamics Enterprise Solution residing within the MS Azure Cloud, or other similar cloud-based CRM environment
    • Analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems
    • Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions that meet network security requirements
    • Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle
    • Conduct discovery sessions, configure, and document the solution using test data for personnel, training, and detail information provided by the customer on their facility or on the CTO Azure Cloud
    • Transfer the solution on the customer provided O365 Sandbox environment for interface integration, final user acceptance testing, review by the customer, and Information Assurance assessment activities. Actual data shall be entered and staged in this phase and training shall be conducted for System Administrators prior to its’ completion
    • Transfer solutions to the customers production environment, provide maintenance documentation to customer, and assist in the development of training materials to be provided to the customer
    • Capture system and business process performance metrics to document the success or shortcomings of the pilot
    • Maintain a product backlog for the solution in collaboration with the customer to plan for both COTS solution patches and enhancements over the life of the pilot; all code changes shall follow the customers Information Assurance, and Accessibility standards and policies

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • 3+ years working with specifying, designing, and testing web-based software solutions
      • Experience with MS Dynamics solutions
      • Experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud or similar cloud-based CRM environment
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication and training skills
    • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
      • Familiarity with Law Enforcement within the dignitary protection business area
      • Experience working within the Department of State, domestically and overseas
      • Experience with Permuta FederalReady Dynamics Solution

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager
